Kapama Private Game Reserve is located on 12 000 hectares of bushveld populated by a variety of different wildlife species including the “Big Five”. Built in the theme of an East African safari camp, Buffalo Camp features 8 luxury canvas tents set on stilts overlooking a seasonal river. Each tent has en suite facilities and is connected to the other tents and main lodge area by wooden walkways high above the riverbed. The main lodge features a thatched bar, indoor and patio dining areas, lounge, swimming pool and campfire area that is lit up at night by lanterns. Guided bush walks and game drives are offered daily. Kapama Reserve hosts the world renowned Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre, and guests are invited to experience the privilege of viewing rare, endangered species such as King Cheetah and Wild Dog at close range.
